John is an experienced IFA and provides a friendly, confidential and comprehensive service to clients in the Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds and Cambridge areas. He is well qualified, holding the following:

John lives close to the Suffolk/Cambridgeshire border with his wife and two daughters. He is a local Parish Councillor (Chairman 2002-2005) and a Governor of St Felix CEVC Middle School in Newmarket.

About BV Services

Although John is self-employed, he works as a 'Registered Individual' of BV Services, which is an established firm of independent financial advisers with offices in Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and London.

About our service

Initial meeting - Our service includes a free no obligation initial meeting to assess your needs. If it is clear that we can be of help we gather relevant facts. This meeting is usually at your home, but we are happy to see you at another location if you wish, and takes about one to one and a half hours.

Review, research and report - We then review your situation, research potential solutions and make recommendations. Generally the recommendations are explained in a report, which also includes the reasons why they are suitable for you. For complex affairs, or if there is a delay in receiving preliminary information, we may split our recommendation report into two or more separate documents.

Second meeting - Normally we will present our report at a second meeting. This allows us to explain our recommendations in greater depth and answer any queries that you may have.

Follow up - If you accept our recommendations we will arrange for any products and services required. We will help you complete any application forms, if necessary, and then process them on your behalf. We will liaise with the providers until the business is completed to our mutual satisfaction.

Regular reviews - We aim to form a long term relationship with you and provide an ongoing service. This means we will meet periodically (eg. once a year) to ensure that your financial affairs continue to meet your expectations.
